A Piano Metronome is an excellent learning device for both beginners as well as for those at an intermediate level. A metronome for piano is considered by some as an essential tool for getting young piano players into good habits while intermediate players often find it essential when learning difficult pieces.

A Wittner Metronome is a popular choice among piano players. These models come with a swinging pendulum. A bell sounds on each beat. If you are looking for something traditional then the Wittner keywound model is worth looking at. It takes just a minute or so to wind this model and you should then have around a half an hour of service before you need to wind again.

If you require something small for easy transportation then the Wittner Taktell Mini Metronome would be a good choice. You should realize however that you will get louder sounds on the standard and Taktell Piccolo versions. Many people enjoy the authentic look of a wood metronome. These come in various finishes including black and mahogany. A little more expensive is the Wittner Qm2 quartz metronome but its well worth considering.

A digital Piano Metronome offers a few extras that the traditional models can not. For instance it is very easy to slow down or speed up the beat in tiny increments. If you are looking for a cheap metronome then a digital model may suffice.

If you want to buy a metronome you should take your time to be sure you are making the right choice. There are lots of different brands on the market at the moment such as the Dr. Beat metronome and the Korg ma30 digital metronome. The Korg model is an extremely popular choice and for under $20. You can get over two hundred hours of battery life with this model. It’s also quite sturdy and will survive at least a few drops (try not to though). It can output triplets, eights, sixteenths etc.

In the electronic metronome market the Dr Beat models receive rave review from users. You can get a great variety of rhythm from these metronomes. Explore odd-time signatures and clav patterns to your hearts content. The LCD screen is easy to read making the Dr Beat model a great choice. Some of the other popular models include Cherub, Matrix and Intelli.

The dimension of this speaker allows this piano metronome to create the loudest sound of all metronomes on the market. Being able to hear the sound of the metronome whilst actively playing an instrument is one of the greatest challenges for all metronome manufacturers. Seiko has met the challenge with this metronome. The metronome includes a volume range that offers an excellent array of adjustment for the powerful speaker. I do not practice without this amazingly compact and useful timekeeper. The beat collection is broad from 40 to 240 bpm in 4 beat increments and also the headphone jack is really a nice bonus.

What I particularly like is the audio and visual modes as you are able to go by the clicks or a red illumination that blinks in time. At quicker tempos, though, the light is harder to adhere to than the click. You are able to choose both the click and light together, which is another excellent feature. Finally, you are able to quickly dial in your tempo that is an improvement over many piano metronomes that need you to use a button to increase or decrease beats going from 126 beats per minute to 240 takes a second versus having to keep pressing a button on competing metronomes. It’s loud and can be heard over my drum kit when I have it close, and also the timing is dead on precise. The tuning to standard A or Bb is yet one more feature that drummers will find useful with doing an initial reference tuning. It allows you to rapidly get a reference tone on one drum then tune your kit from there.

Since counting is important to great practice utilizing this rather than depending on verbal counting when playing is really a big help and has enabled me to measurable enhance my grooves. I nevertheless count off in my head when playing, but now I realize that I’m completely precise. This metronome works like a dream. It is compact enough to be carried anyplace yet creates a sound that can be noticed clearly more than any volume of instrument. The turn wheel makes it simple to choose your preferred tempo, and two various clicking noises are obtainable too as a silent blinking illumination.

The Seiko Quartz Piano Metronome has been working well since i got it about two years ago. The turning knob makes it easy to turn to the perfect speed. It has an extra concert Bflat along with a note constructed in so you are able to kind-of tune to it. A nice little stand is on the back and its little compact dimension make it fantastic to take with you to band exercise or lessons.

The Sweep LED gives you a visual cue. You can switch from two alternating LED’s to eight sweeping LED’s. It even has a stand for easy viewing. The Sabine ZipBeat 6000 Piano Metronome comes with the manufacturers limited 2 year warranty. This sabine metronome has a noisy clear tone and an accented downbeat from 2 – 6 beats per measure. The speed of the metronome adjusts from 40 to 208 for measure (or Largo to Presto). There is a six setting tone generator for reference pitch.

This really is an excellent metronome. The lights provide an excellent visual aid, the loud beat can even be noticed by the drummer, and also the change dial makes finding the right tempo really very easy. There’s only two things I think could be enhanced. I would like if the sound could be turned off or even just down when we want only the lights nevertheless, we easily get around that by plugging in the ear telephone that’s included. The last digit of the numbers on the right section with the bpm change dial are a little difficult to read. I purchased this for the young drummer on our team and now wish I had also purchased 1 for myself as I play the violin. I would certainly recommend this metronome.

I only just got it, but this i appears really good. It takes a nine volt battery but it comes with one. It’s Small enough to be very easily portable, but when on its built-in stand is sufficient. There are settings for time signatures from 2/4 to 6/4, or just an unaccented click-track should you choose. It has a good noisy, neutral pop tone but not too loud and should you want, an optional LED sweep to mimic a swinging metronome arm.

For a kid who is just beginning piano, it could be really frustrating for them to stick to beats while playing. However, it helps them with the idea of counting music notes and the loud and clear beats facilitate counting practice. This really is an amazing metronome, its good and noisy and can be heard over drums. The bpm dial is really great. I made the mistake of purchasing a digital sounding metronome prior to coming across this. This is it for me, I’m utilizing this one till it blows up then purchasing another one.

I’ve visited multiple music stores and looked at a myriad of metronomes and this is one of the best. When my students need a piano metronome, I merely ask their mother and father if I can order it for them on the internet. They do not need to go to the store. I can make sure the kids get the best one and it is always right here by next week’s lesson.

This metronome for piano has a simple to use dial which rapidly selects any tempo from forty to two hundred and eight bpm. It also has a frequency tone generator to help in tuning just about any instrument to A440. A combination of LED and sound displays tempo. It also includes a built-in stand and personal earphone.

This piano metronome is a nice little musician’s helper. It is excellent for even a beginner student to get a sense of tempo, because a few typical Italian terms such as andante and allegro are printed right on the metronome along with the collection of beats. It includes a good loud tick. What student wouldn’t love a small electronic gadget to go together with their lessons? Terrific bargain! and getting lots of use.

I’ve been really pleased with the metronome. It does everything it is supposed to. My big disappointment was that in ordering by the fastest method it was the slowest order I’ve ever gotten and did not get here for 10 days when I actually required it most. Great item so far though and really happy. It really a great metronome! It’s really compact and very easy to make use of. You can operate it with the audible beep, or you are able to use the silent flashing LED light. It’s also one of the cheapest! please note that it does not arrive with batteries.

My daughter’s piano instructor suggested this make/model of metronome. It is compact and can be taken anywhere. My daughter has been playing piano since she was 4, she’s 12 now. I observed a major change in her timing after a single week with the metronome. An excellent buy!

This digital metronome provides an even clearer and more powerful sound and Korg’s acclaimed cylindrical speaker has been further enhanced with an enhanced resonator structure to ensure that it is easily heard. Even loud instruments won’t overpower the unmistakable, clear sound with the Korg KDM-2 piano metronome. With the KDM-2 you have the option of selecting three various PCM seems – cowbell, agogo or clave for that beat, so you are able to choose which sound you want to compliment the instrument you are playing. The volume can be also adjusted to the most suitable degree.

Because there’s a headphone jack constructed to this electric metronome, you can connect a mini-plug earphone which is perfect for private exercise. The start switch is situated on the right panel of the Korg KDM-2 and blinks in two colors (red and green) providing an unmistakable visual indication along with the tempo. The start switch is a great function if you are looking to exercise with a silent metronome. From basic beats to variations like son clave and rumba clave, the KDM-2 contains a total of nineteen beat patterns. You are able to arrange the tempo in any 1 of three ways.

The Korg KDM-2 Digital Metronome provides a memory backup function that remembers the specified tempo, beat, calibration, and reference pitch, even when the power is off. The big LCD screen on this piano metronome makes it easy to view the configurations. An encoder-type tempo dial and a step select switch supply fast and direct access to configurations and functions. Featuring an original style that is compact yet stable, the KDM-2 is at home on your desk, your piano, or anywhere else. The KDM-2 is designed for long battery life. The digital metronome will continue marking a precise tempo for approximately one hundred and twenty hours of continuous use at a tempo of 120 bpm. Korg digital and electric metronomes purchased from a Korg USA authorized dealer now possess a three-year warranty.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife for her piano. As far as we are concerned, this thing is ideal. It is intuitive and simple to utilize. It’s loud. It has much more beats than we’ll probably ever use, and it has a number of other nice features that make it a perfect metronome for our needs. The system is also rather small. I pictured it bigger, but was astonished to find that it is tiny and doesn’t draw too much attention while sitting on the piano.

Among the other metronomes I’ve looked at, this one is also pleasing aesthetically though that is hardly a cause to buy. The primary reason to purchase this really is that its loud with a nice click sound also it can be utilized for any instrument, even drums. I balked at the cost, but it’s a precision system and it shows. We’re very pleased. This metronome is excellent for anybody who requirements a fundamental metronome that’s simple to utilize and lightweight. You will get great battery life, and it’s among a small few metronomes I can use without having headphones as a drummer. Some other digital metronomes are pretty beepy and sort of annoying. It has all the basic subdivisions, shuffles, and a few clave patterns. At this price point this is probably much better than anything out there.
